Connectus Global provides Health Canada approved SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) PCR, NEAR and Rapid Antigen Testing for both national and international travel along with jobsite and event access. Our facilities are operated by qualified and professional staff with a mandate to provide the customer with timely results. Test results will be sent electronically in the form of a border friendly Digital Health Passport which can be viewed on your mobile handheld and can be conveniently presented at any border crossing or jobsite entry point.

Information For Patients
The Process
These tests are conducted by trained professionals at our clinic locations. The sample is then analyzed through our certified process and results are entered into system. The test results will be sent electronically to the traveller/worker via our laboratory when results have been produced and analyzed.
Once the client arrives at the clinic, they will be asked to confirm all required information. This information will be transfered into the Connectus Global database to be able to produce the electronic results document to be sent to the client. All information is entered into secure and encrypted platforms, Connectus ensure that your information is protected.
Once the staff have confirmed all information required, you will be taken to an exam room to conduct the swabbing. The staff member, will ensure that you are fit for testing and the sample will be taken. Your results will be sent to the email address that you provided at the time of your appointment.
Delivery time for results is as per below:
Same Day PCR – Results delivered by midnight on the date of the test
Next Day PCR – Results delivered by midnight on the next day following the test date
48 Hour PCR – Results delivered within the 48 hours following the test time
Rapid Antigen Test – Results delivered daily by 5 pm
Rush Processing Option - for rapid antigen testing only at Victoria Airport, delivering the results in one hour
Same Day NEAR - Results delivered by midnight on the date of the test
Next Day NEAR - Results delivered by midnight the day following the test
The traveller or worker is required to provide certain information for testing and produce a valid travel document. These include:
- Country of travel, including time frame the testing needs to be completed within.
- The traveller/workers current, valid passport.
- The traveller/workers valid email address – this will be where your electronic results will be sent.
- Your contact information.
The patient must be aware of the following for testing to be completed:
- You must be symptom FREE, to have this testing completed at our location.
- This is a PRIVATELY PAID test. The cost to the patient is payable at the time of booking online.
- You must wear a mask for your appointment.
- You must bring your passport to the appointment if you are using the result document for travel purposes.
FAQ
When you book an appointment, our staff works hard to prepare, welcome you, and deliver the fast results we promise. We understand that travel restrictions during COVID are constantly changing, and that life happens. Our policies allow you to reschedule or cancel your appointment for no fee up to 24 hours in advance. In the case of a no-show or last-minute cancellation, for RT-PCR tests, a cancellation fee of $150 is charged as we have confirmed that appointment time just for you. For Antigen Tests, the full fee will be charged for any cancellations with in a 24 hour period of booking.
- If you are planning to use the test results for international travel, you must select a test appropriate for your destination. A good starting point is the IATA website.
- RT-PCR/NAAT test detects an active COVID-19 infection. This method has the highest accuracy rate and is currently the Gold Standard in COVID-19 testing methods.
- Antigen testing, while cheaper and quicker (results in 15 minutes), is less sensitive than the RT-PCR test but is accepted for travel to certain countries such as the USA.
Reverse Transcriptase – Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) is otherwise known as Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAAT) or molecular testing. It is a diagnostic tool that can detect an active COVID-19 infection through nasal or nasopharyngeal swabs. This method has the highest sensitivity and is the Gold Standard in COVID-19 testing methods.
Rapid Antigen testing detects specific antigens indicative of a current infection. It is a small device that collects a nasal sample and produces a result quickly. While it is less sensitive than RT-PCR, it is far quicker and more affordable. However, Rapid Antigen tests are only accepted for travel to certain countries (such as the US), so be sure to check the travel requirements of your destination prior to booking.

Our results certificates are customized with your information. You may use our results to travel to any country that requires an RT-PCR/NAAT or Antigen test for entry.

Yes, Your credit card is stored on file in our secure booking platform.
All information is stored on Canadian servers. We never store information that is not required for us to provide you with our service. Your personal information is only shared within the Connectus Global staff on a need to know basis as customer confidentiality is one of our highest priorities
When you arrive at any of our testing locations you will first check in with the admin. They will ask you to present your passport and will verify this information. Once this step is completed, you will be directed to a nurse who will explain the process and collect the sample.
We do not provide parking but upon getting your confirmation email post booking, you will receive a link that will help you find parking nearby.
